You have to re-sign Lowe this offseason. Soto is coming off the books, you already released Ozuna, traded Urquidy, that's already $20 million you can put toward Lowe for next year. Can probably also get some money by non-tendering Jared Triolo and trading Carmen Mlodzinski. Biggest way you could free up payroll is trading Mitch Keller for whatever in a salary dump.
HUGE WIN: Brandon Dukes has won the special election for Pennsylvania House District 12, flipping the seat from red to blue.
Republicans have held this seat since 1999.
If I was the Pirates I would offer a contract to Brandon Lowe before the season ends.
With the lockout looming I’m sure he wants to be protected with a multi-year deal. I doubt he wants to be a free agent with potentially no team and no 2027 season.
He's filling potholes.
He's balancing budgets.
He's going after negligent landlords.
He's installing high tech trash bins.
He's giving New Yorkers child care.
All Republicans do is make excuses.
All Mamdani does is WIN.
THIS IS THE WAY.
🇺🇸 Trump: "We are canceling $15 million in Alzheimer’s research grants."
🇺🇸 Mamdani: "This man has all the money to wage and fund Israel’s wars, but not to give benefits to Americans. I have never seen a leader so toothless." 🔥
Mamdani is now Trump’s biggest political headache. And the most popular politician in the US 🔥👏
The fact that Trump snuck Natalie Harp out of the plane with him, whose job is supposedly just printing out material for him, tells me that’s not her only job.
That’s Trump’s mistress.
Karoline Leavitt's legacy will be that of a woman who wore a cross around her neck while helping cover up the largest child sex abuse scandal in modern history.
This is how she'll be remembered.
🚨BREAKING: Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear issued an ultimatum to Senator Mitch McConnell, demanding that the 84-year-old senator either provide direct, verbal proof of his capacity to continue serving or resign from office.
Beshear also sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader John Thune, urging leadership to investigate McConnell's condition.
