The shooting at the U.S. Consulate in Toronto is yet another terrible example of violence on our streets that deserves our full condemnation.

The shooter or shooters must face the harshest justice possible and our government needs to do more to stop this violence and protect our people and allies.

I used to drive tandem in the 80s, it was a pilot womans program to get women into the field. I had to do two months at this school, live there, 8 hours a day, 6 in class, study ever part of an 18 wheel truck, the weights, lengths, the stopping distances, the checking of your air brakes every single time you stopped, check for leaks etc because that truck is a weapon on the highway. During daily walk arounds of your truck, instructors would be standing there watching us and asking questions, if they didnt like your answer you were GONGED. It was nerve racking. After 8 weeks I got my certificate, my air brake license and utimately my drivers license. I never stayed with it, it wasnt my thing but it was hard. Those schools are all shut down and I see this shit here and I cringe. i dont want my kids on the highways!!!
