11 years ago, a photo surfaced of a cat sitting on a keyboard.

That cat belonged to @MagicalTux of Mt. Gox.

The joke?

Maybe the biggest disaster in Bitcoin history started with a cat pressing the wrong keys.

The meme stuck.

So much that Tibanne became an official board member of the Buttcoin Foundation.
