Sharon Graham, general secretary of Unite, Britain’s biggest trade union: “It is no secret that I disagree with Ed Miliband on almost every issue relating to a workers’ transition. Ed only seems to be interested in one side of the equation, rushing Britain to net zero with almost no thought for jobs, skills and national security.”
Couldn’t put it better myself.
@elonmusk I still can not belive that people in the SPLC can be so evil and disguise them self as doing a good job to protect the people.
How do we prevent our institutions from being taken over by greedy woke globalist?
🚨BREAKING: The Green party-led Bristol City Council, which banned St George's flags flying during the World Cup as it was "divisive and makes migrants feel uncomfortable", has now been COVERED in St George's flags by locals
F*ck the Greens, this is England! 🏴
Just to remind these same folk:
You’ve not lifted 1/2m kids out of poverty. You’ve just moved them over a bureaucratic line on a Whitehall spreadsheet.
Your ‘workers rights’ are destroying entry-level jobs, hitting young people disproportionately, where unemployment is now over 16%.
You have not transformed the NHS. It’s still the same old wheezing leviathan, just with a lot more dosh and still dismal productivity.
And you’ve nationalised steel and rail before. It was not the prelude to an economic or industrial miracle. Plus you will now have to include their demands for capital/subsidies among all the other priorities already crowding in on the public purse.
Other than that your reminder was useful. Thank you.
A welcoming present just out this morning for a Mr A Burnham to underline just how limited his latitude as PM will be:
The UK government borrowed £23.3 billion last month, 30 per cent or £5.4 billion higher than a year earlier.
It was also more than the £18.8 billion expected by most economists and the £17.7 billion forecast by the Office for Budget Responsibility, the UK’s independent fiscal watchdog.
The interest payable on government debt rose to £11.7 billion, the highest ever recorded in any May.
This is a disgusting betrayal of the Brexit vote.
He has no authority to do this - and it will only further cripple our economy - and give away our money.
Voters must demand respect.
🚨 BREAKING: Massive crowds are flooding the streets in towns and cities across the UK, demanding an end to mass migration.
The British revolution has begun.
@Heccles94 20% of sex offenders are foreigners in England and Wales, (non-UK nationals) whilst they make up approximately 14-15% of the population in the UK
Why is Harry Eccles trying to distract from their higher over-representation in these crimes by pointing to white British?
Criticising Islam is within the British tradition of people
discussing the merits of religions, and I can scarcely believe that some faceless authoritarian should be allowed to punish a person for doing so
Should I expect to be punished for Life of Brian ?
Absolutely disgraceful
🚨BREAKING: Sir Malcolm Walker, founder of Iceland supermarket, has come out to say "two-tier policing exists," revealing police arrived instantly to one of his stores after a fake accusation of racism, but didn't attend when staff were seriously hurt by shoplifters
Shocking.
🚨NEWS: The UK Home Office has admitted it has effectively lost the vast majority of failed asylum seekers, they are likely all still in the UK
"We know where some of them are, the rest are elsewhere in the country”, and that it is likely "they remain in the UK without detection”
