@markminervini I lost as a novice a few years back half of my account within a few month. I learned a lesson for a life in a hard way. I NEVER underestimate the risk management anymore and I don't came to trouble since.
@MedvedevRussiaE Medvedev, you are an idiot. You threaten the world with WW3? You completely lost your mind. You think you can win a nuclear war? Only in Russia a complete idiot can be/has been a president.
Some will read this 👇Tweet and dismiss it as nothing more than conjecture. And then there are those (a very small group of individuals) that will go out and apply its prescription and make a fortune. This is a million dollar Holy Grail Tweet! But only for those who are smart enough to understand its wisdom and willing enough to apply its advice.

@markminervini That's because many people are not interested in hard work lying beneath the surface. Rather they are interested in good tip for quick money. Be reach without any effort that's the philosophy of many of us unfortunately.

Until you stop letting the market indexes and hindsight pressure your trading, you will never be a great stock trader. You must learn to insulate yourself from external distractions AND internal delusion and neurosis.
I am Buddhist, but I have to say, the parody of The Last Supper during the opening ceremony at the Olympics was not just in poor taste... it was despicable and completely unnecessary (not to mention the threesome at the hotel scene). It was an insult to all people of faith around the world. As a result, I am boycotting the Olympics. I will not be watching this year. The olympic games are supposed to be a beacon of world unity during a time of peace and fair competition. The Olympic Truce is a tradition originating from ancient Greece that dates back to 776 BC. The Olympic Committee should be ashamed of themselves, and EVERYONE WORLDWIDE should be concerned about the slippery slope we are on.
The most regretful people on earth are those who felt a calling, had a desire and a knowing inside that they could be more, but gave to it only a thought.
Are you living your best life?
Are you being all that you can be?
Are you giving yourself a chance to prove you have what it takes.
Are you willing to fail to receive magical wisdom?
Are you willing to put your dreams first despite the good opinion of others?
In the end, we only regret the things we didn't do. The shots we didn't take, and the love we didn't make.
Blessings to you, and goodnight my friends.
Thinking a lot about Bill today (his birthday)...and what I learned from him...
As I once said, "Bill never taught me anything (directly), but everything I know about the market comes from him"
Not sure if that makes sense to most folks, but he never sat around & said, "Mike, this is what ___ means & what you do if ____ happens".
It was more about HOW to research, HOW to learn about stocks, and really how to think outside of the box!
We learned a TON together as we did research projects together for years (& of course picked stocks for the institutional buy list together)...he always had an open mind...which is KEY!
Bill never cared what others on Wall Street thought...in fact, he was more likely to take the other side of a Wall Street idea than to just go along with it!
He just looked at the reality of what really happened in the market & built his system around what actually happened not what sounded logical.
The best example would be his early take on ignoring things like price to ____ (earnings, book, etc...).
He simply looked at the best stocks (Model Book Stocks aka the fish tank) & observed that many of them had "high" valuations at the start of their move...so he just ignored valuations.
These days that's more common, but put yourself in his shoes 50 years ago...that was almost as sacrilegious as saying volume data is now dirty data & should be ignored (sorry, couldn't help myself🤣)
Bottom line, Bill's method of learning by DOING is the best way I know how to learn & why I prefer giving out homework assignments here rather than stock pics...you learn the most by doing IMO
Okay, enough rambling on...see all y'all Wednesday on IBDLive (aka the best stock show around PERIOD)

To achieve amazing results trading stocks, you must do a few things:
1. Be willing to sit out in cash for extended periods and never let the averages pressure you into forcing trades that don't meet your buy criteria.
2. Keep ALL LOSSES relatively small in relation to reward.
3. When trades are working, trade aggressively.
4. When trades are not working, back off significantly.
5. Never average down a loss.
6. Never let a big gain turn into a loss.
6. Always respect risk and put discipline over ego.

Putin tried to silence Alexei Navalny. But the world was watching.
On the day of his funeral, we remember his spirit of defiance in the face of brutality from the Russian regime, and his courage in standing up to corruption.
We must continue to hold Russia to account.
Do you want to know the difference between a winning trader and a losing trader? The winning trader thinks like a winning trader and the losing trader thinks like a losing trader. You may not realize it, but this is life changing advice.
We want to succeed and achieve great things, but when we fail to live like a winner by thinking winning thoughts, we have little chance of succeeding on a big scale, because you can only act upon what we think.
No! Practice does not make perfect... practice creates habits. Only perfect practice creates perfect habits. Change your thinking, change your trading... change your life! What do you have to lose... $29? Best risk reward decision you will ever make!!!
