@JohnJamesNI As a white privileged mother of a young adult that believes they're transgender I can absolutely state that this is no lottery win I'm totally of the belief that the social contagion of Tiktok slight ASD + the trauma of losing a parent have been major factors in what we're facing

@authenticTERF Hold on...I agreed with my daughter we could make any changes she wanted except for medical until she was 18, it took 2 1/2 yrs for her to eventually realise. She came out earlier this year as lesbian, has her first serious relationship and is happy.

@HSBC_UK She has an offer letter dated Jan but apparently it needs to be no more than 4 months old.

@HSBC_UK Yes, was told to then go in to branch which she's now done twice. Apparently they want a letterhead letter from the uni and can't accept an email offer and her student finance docs aren't enough.

@BuckAngel Gay/straight is out of fashion. Trans is (tik tok) fashionable and girls that don't conform to convention are being sold that they're trans. More presenting as trans so schools feel the need to be more inclusive. My experience anyway.
