Just back from another trip volunteering in Lviv Ukraine. Despite the freezing temperatures it was brilliant to see all the volunteers, old and new, from Ukraine and from across the world, doing what they can to help Ukraine win. Thanks again to everyone at @LVKitchen2014 who do such great work providing food for frontline soldiers. It is so important that we all continue to support 🇺🇦 in any way we can. The bravery and resilience of the Ukrainian people never ceases to amaze me. Slava Ukraini, слава героям, 💙💛🇺🇦🇬🇧
A Russian attack destroyed the warehouse of Olena Zelenska Foundation today.
Humanitarian aid t be distributed to Ukrainian kids, their families and schools was kept there, waiting to be transported across Ukraine: generators, household appliances, e-books, laptops, tablets, medical equipment etc.
In recent months, Russia has also attacked warehouses of international relief organizations such as the Red Cross and the UN.
Russia intensifies its terror on Ukrainian civilians, hoping to make their lives as miserable as possible and cause a humanitarian refugee crisis in Europe this winter.
An unelected American 🇺🇸 with no diplomatic experience is telling me to surrender my home, and telling Ukraine 🇺🇦 to surrender even more land, to an imperialist, fascist dictator committing acts of terrorism every day.
I never thought I’d see the day, but here we are, Jared Kushner, negotiating away somebody else’s country.
🚆❗️UC: During today's attack by Russian "Shahed" on a passenger train near the Polish border, former British PM Boris Johnson, one of Merz's closest advisors,l, as well as national security advisers from European countries, members of German Bundestag, diplomats, and academics were on board.
By the way, remember this, kids:
- spending five years raining missiles down on Ukrainian apartment buildings,
- burying Ukrainian families alive beneath the rubble of their homes night after night,
- dropping bombs on theaters, railway stations, and supermarkets packed with people,
- plunging tens of millions into darkness and freezing cold during brutally cold winters,
- destroying dams on major rivers,
- filming snuff videos of beheadings, castrations, and the torture of POWs,
- burning POWs alive en masse inside a locked prison barracks,
- firing a missile straight into a children’s cancer hospital in central Kyiv,
- striking the radiation confinement structure at the Chornobyl nuclear plant with a drone and etc etc etc
None of all that, apparently, qualifies as “state terrorism.”
“State terrorism,” you see, is when, in response to all of the above, you destroy the aggressor state’s oil industry and issue advance warnings about the dangers of flying through the aggressor state’s airspace in order to avoid civilian casualties.
Make sure you don’t get the two confused!
Britain Cuts Washington Out of the Kill Chain—
Britain has successfully tested three low-cost, long-range missile prototypes for Ukraine under Project Brakestop, with the winning designs developed by MBDA UK, MGI Engineering, and Rotron Aerospace. The ground-launched weapons are expected to carry roughly 225-kilogram warheads beyond 480 kilometers, cost about £400,000 apiece, and enter production at up to 20 missiles per month, with at least one design intended to reach Ukraine by the end of 2026.
Their most strategically important feature, however, is what they exclude: American components and navigation data, allowing London to supply and authorize their use without Washington’s export restrictions or political approval.
🇺🇦🇬🇧 Zelensky: Today we especially thank Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister of Britain, with whom we have worked very hard and seriously now, during a full-scale war.
I awarded Keir the Order of Freedom for his personal leadership and support of our people.
Today we discussed with Keir key issues regarding the front, our long-range operations and middle strikes.
🇺🇸Trump: Would you go to Moscow?
😄Zelensky: It's difficult. There are a lot of Ukrainian drones there.
👀Reporter: Will you go to Ukraine?
🇺🇸Trump: I would. I would rather have the war be over.
@Dovydas44444@Maks_NAFO_FELLA Hopefully not. I can’t face going through it again. Independence would be an economic disaster, as well as a huge mistake from a National security perspective. Focusing on supporting Ukraine winning is far more important 🇺🇦🇬🇧
Former Denmark PM and NATO Secretary General, Rasmussen:
The most effective and cheapest way to guarantee security of Ukraine is to invite Ukraine to join NATO.
Ukraine is a provider of European security, the strongest and most battle-tested military power in Europe right now.
There might be arguments about how we can deal with a new member that is at war with Russia.
But we have a precedent: when we allowed Germany into NATO back in 1955, the whole of Germany formally joined NATO, yet we decided that only the territory controlled by the government in Western Germany was covered by Article 5.
We could do exactly the same with Ukraine and say: “You join NATO and Article 5 only covers that part of Ukraine controlled by the government in Kyiv.”
Russians finally begin to understand that there's nothing they can do to prevent Ukraine from regaining the 1991 borders of their country, and that no real negotiations will begin until that time.
A popular Russian blogger further laments that "the chance to escape the war will not appear until society reaches the point of understanding the inevitability of a complete withdrawal from Ukrainian territory and comes to terms with this reality".
There are good results from the warriors of the SSU Special Operations Center “A.” A Russian FSB headquarters has been struck, and a Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile system has been destroyed in our temporarily occupied territory. Thanks to just this one operation, Russian losses amount to around a hundred occupiers killed and wounded. Russians must feel that they must bring this war of theirs to an end. Ukraine’s medium- and long-range sanctions will keep working.
