I used to be entirely in the camp that said you should kick your kids out at 18 and force them to live independently and make their own way in the world. I don’t feel that way at all anymore. I want all my kids to live with us until they get married. Even after they’re married, if they want to live on our property, or close by, my wife and I would love that.
The important thing is to teach your kids responsibility, which we’re doing. They need to contribute and help around the house, which all of our kids do from a very young age. Provided you aren’t raising ungrateful useless moochers, why kick them out? Why drive them away from your family home? I don’t see the point in it anymore. I actually like my kids and like being around them.
Maybe they’ll all end up scattered to the wind. But I’d prefer to keep the family together. Why wouldn’t I?
@minihan8 Lord, I pray for guidance and wisdom for these doctors and nurses and peace for mama and daddy! I pray for a successful surgery for sweet Mary! Amen 🙏🏻
To every liberal calling Don Lemon’s arrest “an attack on journalism”, where were you when:
- James O'Keefe
- Nick Sortor
- Nick Shirley
- Cam Higby
- Savanah Hernandez
- Andy Ngo
- Steve Baker
and many others were physically attacked, arrested, or received death threats?
"This is an attack on the 1st Amendment!" No, it's not.
Don Lemon broke the law. Being a journalist doesn’t get you a free pass for committing crimes. Plain and simple.
Nobody is above the law.
Don Lemon belongs in jail. Cry more.
The idea that the federal government would require auto manufacturers to equip cars with a “kill switch” that can be controlled by the government is something you’d expect in Orwell’s 1984, and yet…
Barack Obama wasn’t America’s savior, he was the spark that set this country on fire.
The damage he caused to our unity, our police, and our faith in one another is something this nation is still paying for today.
He didn’t bring hope or unity, he brought division. He turned Americans against each other and started a war on cops that ripped this country apart. Under his watch, hating law enforcement became a trend, and every police officer was treated like the enemy instead of the protector.
Before Obama, people respected the badge. After him, cities burned, officers were ambushed, and criminals were praised as heroes. He fueled a race war so toxic it felt like America had been dragged back to the 1950s and 60s.
He didn’t heal old wounds, he ripped them wide open. He didn’t lead, he lectured. And he didn’t unite, he divided.
The damage he caused to our unity, our police, and our faith in one another is something this nation is still paying for today.
Christians are being systematically exterminated in Nigeria. With everything that’s happened since 9/10, videos like these are so much harder to see. Imagine the families and children left behind after this butchery. Pray for the persecuted church.
Charlie Kirk, Voddie Baucham, John MacArthur, Phil Robertson, James Dobson. God has added some incredible titans to heaven’s roster this year. But, man, what a loss for us
From @charliekirk11’s chief of staff:
Pastor Son was arrested right after Charlie left [South Korea]. Charlie met him backstage at the event and took a photo with him. After the picture CK said ‘I took that photo so if they arrest you I can post it all over social media.’
You know what to do, America.
It’s been a sleepless week thinking about my father in prison and Charlie’s assassination, for simply holding biblical convictions about truth, sound minds, and right values.
Both stood for freedom.
I pray this becomes an awakening for Korea and America alike.
You can love someone and not approve of what they do. In fact, it's required. I mean, every parent knows this. Every parent understands that if you approve of everything your child wants to do, you're not loving.
Perhaps one of the dumbest statements I hear when observing bad behavior in our youth is "They'll grow out of it."
No they won't. They have to be TAUGHT out of it, DISCIPLINED out of it.
Bratty toddlers become, selfish children, become insufferable teenagers, become lawless adults.
Kids don't "grow out" of what you never teach them out of. They just get bigger and more entitled until one day they are doing some pretty horrible things while feeling completely justified.
Women, we should be raising our daughters to look up to women like @MrsErikaKirk and our son's to look up to men like @charliekirk11 . Our nation and world would be so different. It starts at home. God bless you @MrsErikaKirk and your family!
