- I’m Leslie. I’m from Beijing, China

Sincerely, data doesn’t lie.

Yesterday, while checking our dashboard analytics at @hyperknow_ai we discovered something that genuinely surprised us.

We have always thought people would mainly use Hyperknow for school coursework. Like to study better, understand difficult subjects, and perform better in class.

But the data showed us something else.

A lot of people are using Hyperknow simply because they are curious.

Most are learning about AI, building AI agents, exploring how models are trained, studying art history, film theory, astrology, and so much more.

And this got me thinking.

What if people eventually stop learning just because they need a certificate, and start learning simply because they want to know?

If personalized learning keeps becoming easier and more accessible, the formal education system could become less central.

People might build their own learning paths around whatever genuinely interests them.

And honestly.

I think we at Hyperknow might be onto something really big than we have ever thought.

Hyperknow just hit 200%+ user growth 🤭.

I look kind of glad typing this 🥹.

Yilin ( @yi1inz ) and I started building Hyperknow because we felt people needed a completely new way to learn and understand things better.

Today, that feeling has become something much bigger than we expected.

More people are using our product to solve real problems in their lives, and honestly, that makes us really happy.

Truth is:

We are still early.

Still shipping fast.

Still figuring a lot out.

Still looking for ways to make learning easier, more personal, and more accessible to everyone.

We started small, with hope, zeal, and conviction.

And this is where we are today.

200%+ user growth 😇😇.

We really appreciate every single person using Hyperknow and giving us the chance to build something that matters to them.

If you are building something right now, keep going.

If you are solving a real problem, people will use what you build.

We are still figuring it out too.

If we can do it, you can as well.

There has never been any reasonable solution to crime than enforcing a strict law and punishment on crime with a sense of no-exclusion.

But on a factoral basis, there is nothing that also invalidates the impact of poverty to criminal activities

Yes, it might look small but doesn’t mean it’s not a factor.

Social problems are best solved from the tiniest unit then we scale up.

The mind of man is naturally created to push you towards extremes especially in a state of lack.

Not everyone can be rich but we still have to put in more work to create a society that gives everyone what they need to become rich (even if everyone can’t by default)

Crime is one of the most consistent trait of the human creature

We need to fight every bit of factor that contributes to it without social discrimination.

I think the over-concentration of poverty around “being able to afford food” is too shallow and doesn’t capture what true poverty that steals the honest and good mind of a man is.

Poverty is a more deeper thing than “food”

Poverty is best described as the inability of a life to become progressive

You can have access to feeding daily and still be poor.

The inability to progress from poverty is the root cause of crime (not a generalization)

We need to test the inability of people to become progressive in life instead of just feeding

Crime is naturally human and the human society can’t end it all but it can manage it to an extent

Finland studied this by giving people UBI, and it had precisely zero impact on crime
