I spent two years working with Stephen Miller.
His appointment as White House chief of staff is among the most dangerous personnel decisions in the history of our republic.
I say that without reservation.
Donald Trump naming Stephen Miller Chief of Staff is a defiant act of war that will deliver more hate, horror and racism.
If you believe Schumer+Jeffries can fight a war against Trump/Miller you are blind, deaf, dumb & staggeringly ignorant to the past two years.
Think America.
Trump making Stephen Miller Chief of Staff is a giant FU to the entire country that just voted against their barbarism, cruelty and hate. It’s also a sign that in spite of what he said he has zero interest in moderating or working with Democrats to deliver for the people.
Pay attention.
Donald Trump has named Stephen Miller Chief of Staff
While
@hakeemjeffries is talking about no accountability for Trump admin crimes AND not impeaching Trump.
Do you see what's happening?
Jeffries & Schumer are weak and will squander Tuesday's historic night.
Breaking News 🚨
Susie Wiles leaves the White House to join Trump’s political campaign team and Stephen Miller takes over as White House Chief Of Staff.
Let me explain to you what this really means.
BREAKING: SWEET KARMA! Democrat Scott Colom, who is about to win the Mississippi Senate seat, only ran after his MAGA opponent stopped him from obtaining a lifetime federal judge position!
This is one of the most glorious backfires in American history...
Back in November of 2022, President Biden nominated Colom to the federal district court in northern Mississippi. He received support from the state's senior senator, Republican Roger Wicker.
But Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, who Colom is now leading by 1,764 in the vote count from Tuesday, refused to support the nomination. In fact, she blocked the Senate from even considering him by withholding her blue slip, an old Senate custom that lets one home-state senator veto a judge.
She defended her indefensible move by insisting that he couldn't be trusted with such power because of past support for transgender rights. In reality, she was just pandering to the racist MAGA base by blocking a Black Democrat.
But if she hadn't blocked him, Colom would be a judge right now. Instead, he's poised to take Hyde-Smith's seat, flipping a seat that a Democrat hasn't been able to win since 1972 in a state that handed Trump 61% of its vote in 2024.
While the race has not yet been called, if Colom maintains this lead, as he seems likely to do, the seat is his.
Please ❤️ and share if you can't wait to see Colom in the Senate!
This is Jon Ossoff. He was just reelected as Senator of Georgia. 💙
He is also a future President of the United States. If you’re not convinced, just listen to him handle business. Ossoff does NOT fuck around.
I say this with no love for Ossoff or the Democratic Party, but he is correct about all of this and it is going to be a devastating message going forward.
It's one of the reasons I've been chimping about our Russia policy for the last couple months—it's been objectively corrupt and disgraceful. Trying to turn Zelenskyy into a scapegoat at the end was the cherry on top.
Wow. This is amazing!
The incoming House Oversight Committee chairman @RobertGarcia just outlined the four main investigations that Democrats will be opening when they take back the house in January.
It’s about time!!
Bad policy, bad character make bad politics: erratic tariffs, impulsive Iran war, blanket pardons, apparent corruption, weaponized justice, ICE brutality, mountainous deficits, hiding Epstein, abandoning allies and coddling enemies. Hoping for a course correction, for the country and for my party.
Was Minneapolis a turning point?
"Minneapolis’s resistance still achieved something extraordinary: At a time when Trump seemed at his strongest and they seemed at their weakest, they stood up nobly as individuals and as a community against his designs."

BREAKING: HOLY SMOKES! Democrats now control enough states to effectively abolish the Electoral College through the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.
Republicans did NOT have this on their bingo cards...
Under the Constitution, states control their electoral votes and are allowed to decide how they are allocated during presidential elections. Currently, almost every state gives its votes to whoever wins the state.
In practice, the current system means that a candidate can win the national popular vote, but lose the election because small states like Wyoming exert undue influence on the outcome. That state has 3 electoral votes with a population of just 577,000 people. California has 54 electoral votes and a population of 39.5 million people. So a vote in Wyoming is essentially 3.8 times as valuable as one in California.
Since 1992, Democrats have won the popular vote seven out of nine times.
Under the NPV, states that join agree to give their electoral votes to whoever wins the national popular vote, not just their own state. So a state could go red on the map, but if the Democrat wins the national vote, they still get that state's votes. And vice versa of course.
The crucial mechanism is that the compact doesn't trigger until the member states have a combined power of at least 270 electoral votes, the number needed to win the White House. So far, 18 states plus D.C. have joined, totaling 222 electoral votes. We only need 48 more.
Now is the chance to pass this measure in every state possible. Democrats won both houses of the legislature in Wisconsin for the first time in 18 years (10 electoral votes). We won the Pennsylvania state Senate for the first time since 1993 (19 votes). We now have a trifecta in Michigan (15 votes). And we won the governor’s race in Nevada (6 votes).
10 + 19 + 15 + 6 = 50.
222 + 50 = 272.
And if we hold our lead in the Arizona Senate, that number could climb as high as 283, more than enough to trigger the compact.
In addition to removing an imbalance in our system that favors Republicans, this novel approach would fundamentally change how candidates run their presidential campaigns. Currently, they are incentivized to ignore most of the country. If you live in a “safe” state, red or blue, your vote for President is basically decided before you cast it. Campaigns spend their time and money in a handful of swing states while the rest of us watch from the sidelines. If the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact is adopted, they'll have reason to hit every state because they're aiming to win the largest swath of the country as a whole, not just certain states.
States have until July 20, 2028 to join the compact in time for the next presidential election.
We can fix our democracy. The time is now.

The Navy Admiral who Pete Hegseth fired, Nancy Lacore, a 35-year Navy veteran, last night defeated her MAGA republican opponent to win a House seat - South Carolina District 1. Now he has to answer to her in Congress
I have watched this final round of midterm election advertising with sadness and regret.
To politicians, parties, campaign staff, and supporters: so much of it has been cruel, directed at real people with real lives.
Win or lose, God has seen everything. At the end of all things, you will know it was not worth it.
God help us.
