@Justtdavid_ It does continue but not in the same way. My husband died 15 years ago - and my love for him is just as present as it was all those years ago. People die - love does not.
@TaraBull Listen - here’s the thing - we have freedoms in this country - if older folks want to act up and have fun - sing some songs, wear tight clothes - so be it. Live and let live - better that than them not living their dreams and being depressed.
@CynicalPublius It also seems anti-American somehow. It does not express American Exceptionalism or optimism. Maybe for a modern art museum it would be edgy - but for a Presidential library it feels inappropriate.
@PaulRudnickNY Really? What I see is a Steel Magnolia- the old guard of Southern Women that keep the culture balanced- she prob is a pillar of her church community, the beating heart of her family. People like her make me proud because they have something called STANDARDS.
@SecretaryBurgum@WhiteHouse Whoever is doing your publicity deserves a raise -all these amazing videos showcasing the beautification of Washington are so inspiring!
@Englishremnant@Heccles94 I’m gay and I agree with this statement. So do a large percentage of sane gay people by the way - this is in no way homophobic. These labels have lost their meanings because they are used to slander moderates.
@MattWalshBlog I agree - I saw a video of a woman playing spoons with a man on banjo from Appalachia that were amazing - why not take folks like this and focus on regional music from the USA and a great celebration of our regional cultures?
@ReviewsPossum@IsaiahLCarter And before you say “but it’s modern” - Brancusi, Moore, Noguchi - all modern and beautiful in a way that elevates the the spirit. Modern does not equal ugly.
@isfjcutebear She is advancing the interests of her people and country as is Trump. They are both consummate professionals and know that when their interests align it benefits everyone.
@loganclarkhall The point is that he - and by extension we- is powerless to stop it. The placement of the painting in the photo is meant to demoralize.
