UPDATE: On Monday morning, the Blaine Police Department said in a statement that “after further investigation, it was determined that the incident was not related to” Larson’s political campaign.

“The incident is no longer under investigation and is considered closed,” the department said.

Larson thanked the police department for its “quick work on this incident.”

“We are relieved to learn there is no threat to my family and we consider this matter closed.”
