@MetsdUp I understand on paper it seemed like the right move to not sign him long term, but you just can’t replace the vibe, that personality that LFGM attitude!!! He’s always there, always smiling, always doing his best-there will never find anyone that brings it from all sides like that
@Ben_Yoel I think it makes the most sense to give the whole team a standing ovation. Let them know we support them even in the hard times!!! That will go a lot further than showing our frustration. Let’s go Mets!!!
@rachbarnhart@WorkingFamilies Well, this makes sense. The candidate that is endorsed by the WFP would have actually had to sit down and be interviewed to receive that endorsement. That is a well informed voter right there!
@GenerationRiff Yeah my guess is it had something to do with Taylor Hawkins and the stories he told. Alanis referred to the documentary as “salacious.” In any event I could have watched that film for days-didn’t want it to end.
@GenerationRiff@Alanis@HBO thought it was great; I don’t know what was agreed upon, and what direction the film went instead. There is a clear divergence between the two of them; it isn’t obvious by watching the film. Not being a witness to any of this I cannot tell what is truth and what isn’t in the film
@GenerationRiff@Alanis@HBO I agree very unfortunate. I wasn’t going to watch in support of her, however decided to watch it today from your post…so we’ll see.
Congrats to @4irondequoit on your win. This dude cares about our community and will work tireless for its residents. It was a long campaign (pun intended), but this is just the beginning.
PSA: it’s the weekend before Election Day, which means you’ll be getting calls/texts/knocks on your door reminding you to vote. Before you yell or send a scathing reply, remember that behind every phone, there’s a real person just trying to help strengthen our democracy. Be kind.
