@lesliesamkim Such good advice and so well put! I was grappling with how to reconcile memento mori-type advice (do what you love) with my approach to things that I don't necessarily love (but don't necessarily hate either) and was struggling. This helped a lot though!

@michaelsklar Love this idea. I feel like STEM instructors might have trouble seeing the chance for this, but I think it comes down to identity-building: prompts for getting students to see themselves as a chemist, statistician, etc as a way to build confidence

Contributing and refining nodes should be welcomed as much as publishing journal articles is now.

(Kind) Wikipedia editors do an amazing service for the world and deserve more appreciation
