The officer "meant" to pull her tazer & pulled her gun... That's not a mistake cops are ALLOWED TO MAKE. End. Of. Line. #DaunteWright#DefundThePolice
Me, running for office in 2018: HEY! There's shit coming down the pipe that you might want to change your vote over...
Me, 2020: I warned you! I told you so Vancover. I hate being right after the fact. @CitizenYan @derrickokeefe@DavidChenTweets@Patmeister#vanpoli
The far right is getting organized in Vancouver, forging links between various groups & issues. A protest of 700 anti-mask, antivax, Q anon supporters on a smoke-blanketed, second wave Sunday is significant. https://t.co/emQRYMK5MX
Yesterday, I briefed @crackdownpod editorial board about Safer Vancouver & what we uncovered. One board member turned to me with concern in her eyes: "how do we keep our people safe [from this group's harassment & filming]?"
ICYMI: Meet the people behind Safer Vancouver, a group that's called for an audit of Vancouver's poorest neighbourhood and attacked harm reduction during an overdose crisis.
They happen to come from one of Vancouver's wealthiest neighbourhoods. https://t.co/YpxqiK0KYG
I wish you listened to the clip instead of trying to score political points, Jane.
How, by reiterating recommendations of a non-political health official (Dr. Bonnie Henry), am I politicizing the issue? Is Dr. Henry political? Are you saying she’s wrong?

In 2016, I was a regular on a weekly politics panel for local radio. That summer, I called the 2016 US election for Trump-not because I always expect the worst outcome, but bc the political center always underestimates the power of the racist right. This is happening again now.
@amybp76 Makes me think of the "tell someone you love them" meme. Because life is too short. But yell it at them in German, because life is also confusing & terrifying. 😎
Excellent run-down by @JenStDen of Saturday's Memorial March for people we lost to the drug war. With some really nice photos of the day. Ty, Jen. https://t.co/xDdg88wZSQ
