Just had @Jollibee spicy chickenjoy for the first time, and omg, it’s amazing. It reminds me of the old KFC hot wings, back when they were good, before all the bs sauces. Jollibee is spicier than kfc could even dream of though. 10/10 no notes.
@polendo@JeffMG68@ive_arc Just because you can’t see it, idk maybe because your view is obstructed by another car, doesn’t mean it’s not there. There could have been any number of reasons, that’s why you leave room.
@DanHolbrook@CNN@grok Congress already allocated these funds, to be used in the case of a shutdown. This ruling is just saying that the administration refusing to use the already allocated funds is illegal.
@Tim_Walz@MuellerSheWrote I want to believe that, but it’s hard to believe that good people think that my friends and family don’t deserve equal rights because they were born in another country, or their parents were, or they’re queer. Either they believe that, or they’re okay backing those who do.
Charlie Kirk was an unrepentant racist, transphobe, homophobe, and misogynist who often wrapped his bigotry in Bible verses because there was no other way to pretend that it was morally correct.

@sf_mills@designmom People like Kirk are more dangerous than the idiots carrying swastika banners. He gave a veneer of legitimacy to the hate speech, letting people spread vitriol while thinking they’re just protecting “conservative values.”
@RachelMoiselle@magi_jay Not commenting on whether or not this is antisemitic, but it appears to be a commentary on people in Israel enjoying their summer while just on the other side of the barbed wire fence Palestinians are dying.
@QueenMab87 I’m also half Chinese, and by American standards all of my descendants will be considered Chinese Americans even if they never learn Chinese and have no connection to china other than some of the food they eat. Race in America is weird and complicated.
@QueenMab87 I learned, as an adult, that I’m half Lithuanian Jewish. I have no community connections, because I didn’t know and haven’t felt comfortable exploring that, but I do now consider myself half Jewish. However, I would never think that I could speak for the Jewish community.
