FAKE OXFORD GRAD SCAMMED THE NHS OUT OF £170,000 BY APPLYING FOR 2,071 JOBS

Meet Amran Hussain. 40 years old, from Westerham in Kent. He just picked up four years at Maidstone Crown Court for turning NHS recruitment into a personal ATM.

His method was not clever. He said he went to Oxford. He said he held senior NHS posts he never held. He handed in references nobody bothered to ring. Then he waited for HR to wave him through.

They did. Repeatedly. He applied for 2,071 NHS jobs. He landed 13 of them.

Once he got a job, the routine kicked in. Go off sick almost immediately. Stay off sick until the contract ran out or someone finally noticed and fired him. Do little or no actual work. Collect the salary.

Total damage, £168,072 of @NHS money. Money that should have paid for scans, staff and patient care. Instead it paid for a man's imaginary Oxford career.

He got away with it for years. Then in 2021 he applied to Devon Partnership NHS Trust @DPT_NHS for a senior operations role.

He claimed to be Director of Transformation and Improvement at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust @CWPT_NHS. DPT did something wild.

They actually checked. CWPT confirmed they had never employed him.

Once that lie fell apart, the rest followed fast. Investigators found he had also talked his way into roles at Nottingham CityCare Partnership @ncitycare, Kent County Council @Kent_cc, and the UK Health Security Agency.

Yes, the agency built to protect the country during a health crisis hired a man who invented his entire CV to walk through the front door.

He pleaded guilty to three counts of fraud by false representation and was sentenced on Friday.

Dave Horsley from the NHS Counter Fraud Authority @NHSCFA said the money could have gone straight into patient care and called it "not a victimless crime."

He is right. It never is.

Here's what should actually bother you. It took thirteen fake jobs and four years of public money before one single trust bothered to check a CV. Nobody outsmarted Hussain. Somebody finally just did their job.

An Afghan who appears to be an illegal migrant has been arrested for
sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in London.

The victim was with her family, sightseeing at the filming location for
Harry Potter's 'Diagon Alley' when Abdul Salihi groped her, and then stared at her with a 'weird smirk on his face'.

Salihi then followed the girl and her family into a restaurant, where he flew into a rage and threw a chair through a window, before being detained by members of the public, according to police.

The incident took place in broad daylight.

Salihi is an Afghan national.

He gave his address as an Oxford hotel which houses asylum seekers.

He was fined just £560 for assaulting the teenager.

He remains free to roam our streets.

We can't go on like this.

A Reform government will ensure EVERY illegal migrant who broke into our country is deported.

If the reports are true that Hammersmith & Fulham Council is investigating a complaint over a restaurant displaying a “Proudly Non-Halal” sign, then Britain has a serious problem.

Since when did stating what you serve become controversial?
Businesses openly advertise halal, vegan, kosher, gluten-free, and every other dietary option. So why should “Non-Halal” be treated differently just because someone doesn’t like it?

A complaint isn’t the same as wrongdoing. If we start policing lawful signs because they offend someone’s feelings, where does it end?

Freedom of expression doesn’t mean only saying what’s popular, it means protecting the right to say things that some people disagree with.

Someone complained to me today that we treat pensioners better than asylum seekers. I’ve two things to say about that:

1) Most asylum seekers are in fact economic migrants who have entered the country illegally. They are illegal immigrants.

2) I’m very comfortable treating our pensioners better than illegal immigrants.

They saw a 77 year old woman standing alone at an ATM in Bromborough, England, and thought they had found an easy victim.

Winifred Peel was withdrawing money when three teenagers moved in to rob her. One pushed her aside while another tried to take cash from the machine. They expected fear. Instead, they got resistance.

Winifred grabbed one of the attackers, 19 year old Felix Stoica, by the collar and slammed his head against the ATM three times. The injuries he suffered, along with CCTV footage, later helped police identify the gang.

Within days, all three suspects were arrested. Felix Stoica, Florin Geblescu and Piper Dumitru eventually admitted their roles in the robbery and were sentenced to prison.

Afterward, Winifred revealed she regularly went to the gym and believed that staying active had helped her defend herself. The attack shook her confidence, but she refused to let the men take her money without a fight.

The three teenagers believed age made her an easy target.

They walked away discovering that courage is something no one can measure by the number of birthdays a person has lived.
