There's nowhere safe to go. I don't know how to move from my tent. The occupation bombed a car on the transportation route with many people in it. Even if we find the means to flee it ends in death.
@filmysaint hmm that’s unfortunate. hopefully we see more of that considerate and attentive side soon. that also makes way more sense because the “liquid courage” reasoning for her drinking as much as she did felt a bit random to me.
One thing I need way more of though is Peem reciprocating and matching the level of energy Bulan pours into her (not just in intimate scenes). I expect as a cop on a vengeful mission for her to be self-centered, but I thought it was sad she didn’t notice Bulan’s burned hand.
@grlkisserclub_ exactly! even by the end of this episode, bulan is off to save peem, so i know this is going to be a reoccurring theme. the fact that she listened to bulan and returned before sunset gives me some small hope, but like you said i see more instances of bulan making scarifices.
Although, I want to see Bulan and Peem deepen their emotional bond (physically they already seem to be compatible), I think this was a decent start. I’m sure more conversations will come, but it is quite poetic hearing Bulan discuss death and soulmates the way she does.
Ugh, Bulan is such a badass like how can you not scream legend, diva, queen! One of the most iconic characters in a gl I’ve ever witnessed.

The episode mainly being Peem looking for the materials Bulan instructed her to find was pretty interesting. The different locations and varying interactions she has? Plus how she procures each item? That definitely held my attention. The scene on that mountain top was beautiful.
Not only was this a gorgeous backdrop, I’m so glad we got more of Master Bulan’s backstory this episode. From her father, to her mother, and then this scene where she explains why she became a master.
