Me, 6 months ago: I hate sports, but I might enjoy hockey.
Me, today, unironically watching the Super Bowl alone: I CANT BELIEVE THE SUPER BOWL IS GOING INTO OVERTIME!
@ambernoelle My great-grandma was a custodian and cook at the school in her village, ironed clothes for neighbors, and did hemming and repairs for money, while my great-grandfather was a bus driver. They still struggled immensely to make ends meet in the 1940s and 50s.
@CreativeSpoonie It only took me that long because I came here to catch the vibes! I’ll be watching it multiple times over the week while I catch all the reaction vids 🫣 I’m definitely not spending hours a week on this universe 🥴
I keep getting on Twitter thinking I’m going to be accidentally spoiled for #Survivor44 before I can watch it tonight and it’s weirdly exciting. I already accidentally turned it on live last night for 3 seconds and learned too much. 🫣
@sportswithjohn This is the exact reason I’ve never gone past the first draft of a novel. Sharing it feels like an invasion of privacy for some reason. 😅
@katee_robert All of this has led me, for the first time as a romance writer, to feel like indie is not only a viable option but possibly the only option.
Just crossed 20k words in this draft.
This is the most effortless story I have ever written. It feels genuine and so close to my heart.
I wrote 4200 words in two hours today, and that tells me a ton about how this story makes me feel.
I started a new project, tentatively called "Her Withered Heart".
Set on a working horse farm in the Appalachian foothills, where 26 yo Lily returns to pick up the pieces of her life, and 28 yo Deacon remains steadfast waiting for her to break his heart again.
