Masculinity is the most fragile possession in a mans life. #BeingAMan requires fitting into the perfect design society draws out for them.

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

#GuysVsMen Like women, men are also placed into roles they need to fit in society. When will be granted the basic right of being ourselves?

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

I refuse to be anyone but myself. I shall continue to be the only person to determine how I live, while overcoming any and all limitations.

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

The strides we have made towards equality is remarkable. I wish one day all women will be able to forbear the oppressions society produces.

Abigail Adams, you are a force to be reckoned with. A pioneer for all women who have ever longed to fight back against men silencing them.

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

I resonate with The Gilded Cage as it reflects my own life. Feeling restrained from what one longs for is a feeling I know all too well.

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

I am not an object to be toyed with, I am a human being who deserves to live however I want! Something even my own husband cannot realize.

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

To John Adams, shame on you for not accepting the valid points your wife presented. Women are never taken seriously and are always shot down

Abigail Adams, you are a force to be reckoned with. A pioneer to all women who want to make a change against a higher power. Thank you.

Masculinity is one of the most fragile things in a mans life. #BeingAMan comes with fitting into the perfect mold society lays out for them.

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

The great gender divide in this country stems from societies ridiculous standards. How can anyone, men and women, be expected to reach them?

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

I refuse to be anyone but myself. I will take control of my life only with no reason to please the notions others put upon me.

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

It's expected for both men and women to perform as one ideal standard that society places on them. When will we be free to live as we want?

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

@As_I_Blossom Us women must support each other and combine our strengths to go against those who want to bring us down. #womensday

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

@wideawakein1899 Yes! Women deserve to be their own people, not trapped and controlled by those who think they are superior.

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

@awakeatlast2 The progress we have made is truly amazing. Lets hope we as a society continue to move forward in gender equality.

[Edna P_E.A @As_I_Blossom]

@letednalive The shackles that have weighed woman down are finally starting to fall off, but not entirely. #womansinternationalday #genderequity

[Edna P_Catherine @letednalive]

The progress we have made in the fight for equality is remarkable. I hope all women are free to live as they want, not controlled by men.

When looking at the bird outside the window in #thegildedcage I can't help but yearn for the freedom that I know is out of my reach.

[Edna P_Giovanna🤷 @ednasepiphany]

Envious of the bird flying free, wishing I could escape the responsibilities of a woman. I did not ask for this life, I want to be free.
