🧵In 2020, I nearly died from mysterious industrial chemical exposure at my home. Later I discovered my employer was dumping toxic waste into our windows from their Skunkworks semiconductor fab next-door. I tipped off EPA, who raided them in 2023. EPA just sent me the report 💀⬇️

@EliotETC this happened in my hometown. original owner passed away after battling cancer, new owner changed the whole menu & stopped cleaning (??? yeah) & drove it into the ground in 6 months. it'd been open for decades!

thankfully someone else reopened it 4 yrs later as it originally was

@spahn711 I learned about this in my Geology class, that the theory wasn't widely accepted/taught until the 60s. And then I remembered my grandfather who was a geologist and got his degree in the 50s. And I was like wow he did his degree BEFORE plate tectonics was accepted! Blew my mind
