Visiting Mesquite ISD’s Emerging Leaders program Poteet High School; being purposeful about creating empathetic, critical thinking, and resourceful future leaders. Our students are amazing. So proud to be a part of this important work. @mesquiteisdtx
Before building upon the work we've started, we have to make sure our foundation is solid. Establishing meaningful relationships, fostering a positive & productive work environment, & being purposeful in understanding & managing emotions are key to increasing team performance.
“Love” is our theme, being purposeful is our thing! Welcome to a new eventful school year of intention. Our students and families deserve the best; our members of our organization deserve our best. This is the promise for all of us. #mesquitepromise.com @mesquiteisdtx

We have had two Saturdays in a row where students in Mesquite ISD have had the opportunity to shine. Our Celebration of Knowledge and Amazing Shake events have been a blast. Congratulations to all of our participants!!!🎉🎉🎉
We are so proud of our March Students of the Month: Arianna Salinas, Madelyne Rodriguez, Marquette Johnson, Esmeralda Tome, Mikayla Ruff, Crystal Olvera, & Patrick Gillego They were recognized for exemplifying Role, Respect, Responsibility, and Relationships on Campus.
Our student leaders talked about the word, “Favorites.” It is normalized. Students determined that we have to stop doing this at every level. Everyone has to be held accountable regardless of being someone’s ‘favorite.’ We have to honor dignity. #MadeToExcel#youbelonghere
Our students light up when talking about what they need from the adults in their school around our district. Thank you Rugel Elementary, Gray Elementary, and Woolley Middle School.
Although the month has come to an end, we as #DifferenceMakers create new beginnings each day. "With our future ahead of us and the ancestors beside us, there's nothing we can't do." #MISDSisterhoodWednesdays
