Hey honeybees! Time is not protection against HIV and STDs! And wearing condoms over a long period of time does not mean your partner doesn’t have anything. #gettested#letsbeehive
Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is up to 99% effective at reducing transmission of HIV, but there are still big differences between male vs female who are utilizing this tool in their sexual health toolkit. At Let’s Beehive!, we are dedicated to helping women get on PrEP!
This month, our worker bees have been on the move! We spent time pollinating in Atlanta, GA @MercerUniniversity College of Pharmacy hosting our first She Is PrEPalicious PrEP Ambassador Training Program! Thank you @CVSHealth for sponsoring this event!

Why do we have #HIVAwareness days?
The goal is to help educate the general public and specific communities about HIV/AIDS, prevention, treatment, and testing.
This day is an opportunity to raise awareness about stopping #HIVstigma and encouraging HIV testing, prevention, and treatment for HIV among gay and bisexual men, who often face multiple challenges—such as racism, homophobia, discrimination, and stigma
9/18 was National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day (#NHAAD). It is observed each year to focus on the increasing number of people who, because of major advancements in HIV treatment, are living long, full lives with HIV.
9/27 was National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (#NGMHAAD), a day when we reaffirm our commitment to ending the disproportionate impact of HIV on gay and bisexual men in the United States.
