College professor & cruise travel agent with Sun and Sea Travel. I love to help people plan their dream cruise - just send me a DM and let's get started!
@wayneparrott@VirginVoyages Agreed, just about the worst wifi I've had on a cruise ship. I hope no one actually tries to work with that as their only connection.
@WheresWalterTV @CruiseWithBrian@theRCLblog What you have here is for cruises that originate in the Bahamas. Here is the guidance for all cruise passengers originating in the US, from just above that on the same site.
@SlyJabroni Interesting - which cruise line? Maybe they give me a little slack because they see me up at the cage a lot cashing in slot machine tickets. π (I primarily cruise on Royal Caribbean at this point.)
@SeaBreezeBear If you're very patient/determined, you can get your cabin moved to another available cabin in the same category. You just need to call and ask for the request to be escalated. Once they see your C&A status, they usually make it work.
@thiscruiselife It's already increased my personal demand for cruises 7 nights and longer! π I think it's a mistake to remove testing. But with the short cruises, people won't show symptoms until they get home. I guess Royal figures that it's not their problem. π€·ββοΈ
@thepointsguy My driver's license, which had fallen out of my pants pocket in deep into my seat. And it was on my outbound flight! π« Fortunately a great @delta gate agent boarded the plane and retrieved it for me. Since then I always travel with two forms of ID.
@CruisingWithTom My best tip is to always sit at the bar when you go to get a drink! Much more chances to strike up a conversation than youβd have at a table or sofa. I also always do karaoke when itβs available - always seem to make friends there! π
@CruisingWithTom Since my husband passed away in 2020, most of my cruises have been solo. Iβve made some great friends onboard those sailings and I know you will too! Enjoy!!
@SeaBreezeBear I just booked Nov 2022 on Serenade and that'll make all 4 ships in one year: Jewel in Nov 21, Brilliance back in March, Radiance next month, and Serenade in Nov. Then back to Radiance for good measure in December. π
@emmacruises I have a promenade view cabin on a @RoyalCaribbean cruise later this year and I'm looking forward to doing a lot of this! π₯° Glad you had a fun time!!
@SeaBreezeBear@RoyalCaribbean I feel like Jewel was especially bad for getting kicked off. Maybe they just need to turn the system off and turn it back on again? π
