@maybe_ellen Yes? Hormonal or medical disorders being advantageous for sport is part of sports. Unless you think being tall should be outlawed for basketball
@maybe_ellen Incorrect! Yet again, you have an opinion that you believe, and facts don’t actually enter into the equation for you. And no, you don’t. Hormonal disorders do not always mean someone has dysfunctional reproductive structures.
@maybe_ellen It is evidence. She also competed in the Olympics. Are you saying she doesn’t have a vulva, but competed in the Olympics, in the women’s event? They give physicals. They give blood tests. Do you think she just avoided that?
@maybe_ellen Okay. How about this- my strongest piece of evidence for Imane being a woman, having a vulva, and not having testes is that she lives in a country where being trans is illegal, and SRY generally means the woman still has female reproductive structures. What evidence do you have?
@maybe_ellen You are claiming someone who competed in a woman’s event at the Olympics is a man. It’s not a neutral. It is, in fact, a bizarre claim that, sans evidence, sounds stupid and conspiratorial.
@maybe_ellen She’s literally from a country where being trans is illegal, and competed at the Olympics in the women’s event. My claim is, she’s a woman who’s strong and accomplished in her field. You are making an extraordinary claim that she is, in fact, male. You prove it.
@maybe_ellen She doesn’t have testes. She has a vulva. What, exactly, are you saying she has, according to your statement here?

A female human is anyone in whom at least two of the following have occurred:
A) Ovarian development
B) Vulvar development
C) No testicular differentiation
A male human is anyone who has developed any of the following:
A) Testicles as their only gonads
B) Wolffian structures
C) A penis
@FlamingkittyU If I find a state where child marriage is legal and Republicans vote to protect it, will you change your mind, or make excuses and move the goalposts?
@maybe_ellen CAIS women do have T at average male levels. That’s not opinion, that’s fact.
The average trans woman who compete with women perform worse than they did prior to transition, and below average for female athletes. They don’t have any advantage that is statistically significant.
@maybe_ellen The vast majority of medical professionals used to believe that humans had 4 humors once upon a time. Appeal to tradition, appeal to authority. Not even a long-running tradition-sex segregated sports is quite recent, mostly happening when women started beating men.
@maybe_ellen So… you were factually wrong, but don’t believe that’s indicative of your actual position being based on personal bias, not the actual facts of the situation?
Trans women are disadvantaged compared to c!s women. Don’t be obtuse, it doesn’t make your argument seems stronger.
