Update on news regarding Russian diesel cargos to the US
No change to suspected 3 ships set out below via @ft reporting and two of which I saw loading at traditional diesel berths
AGIOI FANENDES 9798375
TALISMAN 9292060
LERUO 9385831
New developments:
A letter demanding diversion of the ship has been sent by @SenBlumenthal to the owner of AGIOI FANENDES

The senator also sent a letter to the owner of PVT AZURA 9423683 with the same demand after reports it was headed to the US from several sources

But reporting from @gCaptain confirmed via the shipping company that PVT AZURA is carrying UAN and not diesel

That puts it in the same category as TAURUS, IBLEA and (several weeks ago) MINERVA ZEN, which all were at one time declaring a US port but are now believed to be loaded with UAN. I note that some sources still suggest IBLEA as having a diesel cargo.
Finally, a reminder that these ships are variously declaring “for order” or “Atl. Coast for order” and there is skepticism that they will ultimately unload at a US port, but rather divert to another country.
As an example, there are other tankers similarly loaded at Primorsk and declaring “Atl. Coast for order” such as Russian flagged PRIMORYE 9236743 which illustrate the practice of departing before the final destination has been decided.
