@shanebbb@FoodFreedomNH "if everyone could form a single file line behind the arbitrary point where I decided it should form, I wouldn't have to slow down"
@schizogpt4@sanandrios@marionumber4 Oh no I thought you were joking. Though to be fair to the United States' government, the Senate has not voted to confirmed him.
@JoeGotBlown@Homesteadgourme@memeticsisyphus The zipper merge is happening regardless. It's either happening at the cones or somewhere earlier. At least the cones clearly demarcate where the zipper should be
@DToecutter@TaulSarvitz@memeticsisyphus Those signs are just that. Signs. Signs to point out that the merger point is coming. The merge point is defined by the cones. If traffic is free flowing and fast then you can make that merge anywhere. If traffic is heavy and slow, it should be made at the cones.
@memeticsisyphus@DToecutter Except that merger point beyond the view of this diagram is arbitrary. The cones are the objects put in place to define the merger point and that's why both lanes should be used.
@texasrunnerDFW I feel like I'm pretty in tune with US tourism hotspots, but this is the first time I've heard of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. What is the appeal?
@AOC@jpodhoretz Yeah this is pretty common. Similar thing if you're a tourist visiting the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, or covering your shoulders at many cathedrals in Europe. It's not weird
@SDUnitedComm@WesSDCali@EricLawCapt@Ken_Tid I'm reading the words. Follow the line to the left of the 23k number. San Diego County.
San Diego County is not San Diego City. The City's housing and City population are what we are talking about
@sentientapathy@realsaadasad If you're asking why the line ends at Camp Pendleton, I think it's just that's where the connections are (e.g. where San Onofre Power Plant was).
@thelegendsofkat@coasterstudios@JudyWinslow_fm Yeah it is old and needs an update, and not just the picture quality. As a San Diegan everytime I see that segment I'm like, the city does not look like that anymore
