@karonliu Deer Garden has a fabulous pepper fish soup base. No mussels as ingredient but lots of other choices. Some hot pot places like Liuyishou offer white pepper soup base & you can order mussels as ingredient. Some Chinese restaurants do white pepper soup with chicken and pig stomach.

@edwood3 @bruceanderson Finnish ppl's mindset (like some philosophies) is what makes them happy. N American mindset is far from that. We don't encourage ppl to be content. We focus on what doesn't work vs appreciate what does. We prioritize our own welfare over the common good. Mindset is hard to move.

1. Lynn Conway was an incredible woman. She pioneered supercomputers, was fired for transitioning, went stealth and started over with "no experience," inventing a type of chip that made mobile phones possible.

She passed away yesterday.

I'd love to see @MitzieHunter or @chloebrown4TO become a voting advocate. Even with this wide open mayoral race, only ~38% voted. Low voter turnout has been consistent in past few elections at all levels of gov.
