Upholding Jim Crow was neutrality.

Refusing service based on gender was neutrality.

Neutrality is siding with those in power and ignoring the needs of the marginalized.

I will never be neutral.

@misskubelik I got a job as a youth program manager for a non profit. There is tons of overlap with program management, outreach, grant applications, and social justice work. I would look into youth focused non profits!

It continues to confuse me that romance novels by Loretta Chase, KJ Charles, Jennifer Crusie, etc. ad nauseam exist that would make BEAUTIFUL adaptations for the screen, and movie execs are like "oh hmm this deeply mediocre novel written by a white supremacist, I pick that one."
