From closing time this Sunday 1 November, our doors will shut for a short period as we work on exciting improvements to our Bakewell visitor centre. We hope to welcome you back once again before the end of the month!

Blackden Fall | @peakdistrict

Took a sneaky skive with Mrs M and went for a strenuous hike up Kinder on Tuesday. There's a long story, but one highlight was this gorgeous fall on the way up Blackden Clough.

You need landowner permission to wild camp anywhere on Access Land - including the Peak District. Wild camping on National Park Authority properties is not allowed- this includes locations such as Stanage Edge.
