Proud to announce that we filmed the 7th edition winning screenplay, written by Matthew Michael Morrison.

Next year, on February 20th, the film will be released in all cinemas around Romania.

This is the story of a crash test dummy who works tirelessly to give his son a better life, a symbolic, poetic tale about breaking out of the patterns we inherit and daring to stand still in a world that pushes us to move.

Now, five and a half years later, MANNEQUIN will have it's premiere at Animation Bucharest International Film Festival - ABIFF, on May 31st.

Back in 2019, Babak Shahidi submitted to our contest a 3-page screenplay: THE MANNEQUIN.

We loooved the story, so even though his screenplay was not the winner of our 3rd edition, we decided to give it a chance.

George Ganea and Horia Cucută worked on a new draft, that won financing from CNC Romania.

Later on, VÂNĂ Animation Studio joined forces with us and transformed the screenplay info a 13 minutes animated short film.
