In Captain America and the Mighty Avengers #9 it would be revealed that the Beyond corporation transported the members of Nextwave to Earth-63163 and altered their memories, as an experiment and none of what the team did affected the main universe.

The Nextwave squad was a group of super powered H.A.T.E.(Highest Anti-Terrorism Effort) agents, meant to work as a strike force. While originally meant to be a completely alternate continuity the events of the book were later worked into Marvel canon.

H.A.T.E. would later be bought by the Beyond Corporation a shell for S.I.L.E.N.T., a terrorist organization. The Nextwave team would later go rogue and work against them. They then figured out it was all planned by a clone of Devil Dinosaur.

Afterwards Luke cage would join the Fantastic Four as the Thing’s replacement.

There was an attempt to make a second issue of the comic but unfortunately the company was unable to obtain the necessary newsprint. It is suspected that they were blocked by prejudiced distributors and/or competing white-owned publishers.

All-Negro comics was a single issue comic book published in 1947 and was the first comic to be written and drawn solely by African-Americans. It was published by All-Negro comics inc., created by Orrin C. Evans, Harry T. Saylor and two others.
