Hopefully more capacity will come. Starlink V3 satellites should help. Only bottleneck is going to be the ground stations. Has the FCC approved the new Starlink ground station hardware or they have to test it first with V3s in orbit?
BREAKING: Blue Origin has revealed fresh performance details for a deployable solar tower designed to become part of the Moon’s first power grid.
The company says its 20-meter Power Tower will generate more than 10 kilowatts at the lunar south pole, which is enough to distribute electricity beyond the lander to rovers, communications systems, scientific equipment, and other surface infrastructure.
Its height is the critical feature. The tower raises its solar arrays above uneven terrain and long lunar shadows to capture the near-continuous sunlight available along elevated areas near the south pole.
The new detail is that Blue Origin now describes the system as modular: multiple towers could eventually be linked into a larger surface power network rather than leaving each spacecraft dependent on its own energy supply.
The disclosure comes weeks after NASA specifically requested proposals for vertical solar arrays, energy storage, and power distribution systems needed to build its planned lunar base. Blue Origin has not announced an award, but its architecture closely matches the capabilities NASA is seeking.
The next era of lunar exploration will require more than landers. It will require power plants, and Blue Origin is positioning this tower as one of the first building blocks.
China's STAR-VISION and STAR-AI jointly unveiled their orbital AI computing constellation "Space IDC". Benchmarked directly against SpaceX’s Starmind, tarchitecture scales from an 11.5 kW, 40–60 PFLOPS demonstrator (G1) up to 140 kW, 1 ExaFLOPS orbital flagship (G3).
Customized launch service contracts have already been signed for ORIENSPACE's Gravity-1 and GALACTIC-ENERGY’s Ceres-2, with the first launch planned for Q4 2027.
Flight 14 Chilean Splashdown 🚀💦⛴️
Presumed SpaceX support vessel Armada 86 03 arrived ~1 hr ago on station off the coast of Chile! Started in Brownsville Sept 1st, and is now holding position in the Nav Warning box.
One more sign of an on-schedule Monday launch attempt.🚀🔥
Power changes what’s possible on the lunar surface.
Our Power Tower is a 20-meter-tall, vertically deployed solar array system designed to provide more than 10 kilowatts of power for Moon Base operations at the lunar South Pole. Its modular architecture will support future surface networks, extending power beyond the lander to the assets that need it most.

Blue Origin is busy over at the Rocket Park. The former Ares 1 LM-1 has moved to be staged outside of MILA where the GS2 test area is well underway. Another crane has risen on the skyline. The Project Horizon building should take shape relatively fast with a ton of steel already staged.

This is super provisional!
Starship Flight 15 - NET October 19
Starship Flight 16 (Starlink 30-1) - KSC 39A - NET October 30.
You can bet those dates will slip, but it shows some of SpaceX's forward planning.
With just how well it's worked for SpaceX it's insane to me that as far as I know Blue Origin are the only other ones pursuing this method of fairing reuse.
We’re partnering with Uztelecom, the leading telecommunications operator in Uzbekistan, to bring satellite connectivity to remote and hard-to-reach communities across the country.
UZ-SAT will serve as an authorized distributor of Amazon Leo, complementing Uztelecom's extensive terrestrial network and helping close the digital divide for millions of people.
