This might be a little dramatic but I don't appreciate James Gunn's language in regard to Damian being Batman's "actual" son. It's an easy translation for GA, but I think most hardcore fans mind their verbiage. They're all his actual children, Damian so happens to be his bio son

@jeyshan26 I think all this means is that Superman and Paradise Lost may take place before the main time period of the DCU. Likely that some of these characters need cooling off for the GA. I think Brave and The Bold is the only one guaranteed to be present day

Best thing the new DCU could do is go for straight forward suits made of real fabrics. Slick leather on the Lanterns with the white gloves. Simple suit and cowl for Batman. Cloth for the rest with little exception. No need for lines or textures all mismatched.

If Damian’s about to be Robin in The Brave and The Bold, then Nightwing must already be out and about. So hear me out… @DPharaohWTai @JamesGunn

I feel like James Gunn will announce a Justice League Dark project because he seems like the type of guy who would want to meet the real John Constantine

@TheQuiver_ I always wished Titans and Doom Patrol connected more to each other and the DCEU. I think everyone in that could’ve worked with their movie counterparts, especially the robins

I think a really important part of the new DC slate is that everything doesn’t seem to be required viewing. I think Marvel made big gambit in Phase 4 w a constant stream of content and expecting people to watch it all. If Marvel doesn’t shape up, and DC doesn’t already know-

Until 10 years ago I’d say DC, namely the Trinity were the absolute mainstays in the world of comics, then Spider-Man. Marvel’s climb has been impressive, but it’s not DC taking the throne, it’s them reclaiming it. Much different

If DC can really give each project its own unique, true-to-the-story feel, it’ll cover serious ground against Marvel. If it can start respecting VFX artists and comic creators, both in spirit and behind the scenes, I can see it quickly becoming the household brand again
