Because many Catholics are urged to not read a Bible. The church wants to control what you believe.

My wife was raised Catholic and was strictly forbidden to own her own Bible.

She’s now free of the chains of Catholic servitude. Says she’ll never set foot in church again.

The Donation of Constantine, Pseudo-Isadorean decretals, Symmachian and Liber Pontificalis forgeries show the RCC resorted to lies to get what they didn't have.
