I get that the majority of people will see the same version (or format) of The Odyssey but doesn't it feel a bit eh to know how much you're missing if you don't have an IMAX 70mm screen near you?
@gutsfan4 I always wondered why they stopped doing it. I understand that it’s less of a headache but it’s sad seeing that part of movies (horror especially) fade. Practically effects/makeup effects people used to be sort of big names in the horror spaces of the 70s/80s
@gutsfan4 Reminds me of when you hear directors talk about the difficult practical effects to pull off in the 70s/80s and how today they would just use computers to do it… NOOOOO WE DONT WANT THAT‼️⚠️ WE DONT WANT YOU TO USE AI USE YOUR HEAD YOUR WONDERFUL MARVELLOUS HEAD
Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone (2001) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ John Williams’ score plays such a huge role in creating the sense of wonder and magic in this. Every major moment of the film is accented by his work and it serves to make each of them memorable #filmtwt
Private Life (2018) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cast Paul Giamatti in your movie and there’s a very good chance that I’ll love it. Kathryn Hanh is great in this too! #filmtwt
I think the title of “Scariest Film Ever Made” does The Exorcist a disservice. New viewers go into it expecting modern scare tactics only to find an expertly crafted religious thriller
