@downhomesunset@RobinHoodlum We aren't taking any donations ourselves, but we can recommend some great people to donate to! Egale Canada & Skipping Stone Foundation are taking the fight to the Alberta government over their transphobic policies, and they do take donations I think!
Protest Updates!
WE HAVE MAPS!
These maps are subject to change, but this is what our plan looks like for Friday. We'll be meeting at 5:00pm at the designated location below for anyone who wants to move to the protest site as a group. /1

We'll have volunteers on site wearing safety vests and lanyards with name tags for easy identification. If you have any questions or concerns, please talk to one of our awesome volunteers!

BREAKING NEWS
After repeated denials and cancellations across Canada, the Sean Feucht (@seanfeucht) #LetUsWorship event scheduled for Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, at the Alberta Legislature grounds will go ahead.
โIt is good to see a government respect Canadiansโ freedom of expression and allow this free concert to go forward,โ said lawyer Marty Moore (@CanConLaw), who is working with the event organizers.
โPoliticians and policymakers need to uphold fundamental freedoms, including when doing so is deemed controversial. Those who fail to do so should be challenged legally and politically. Our legal team continues to work with the organizers to defend Canadiansโ constitutional rights, including at the planned concerts being organized in other Western Canadian cities,โ he added.
The team continues to coordinate legal support with the event organizers, including for the other four Western Canada events.

The Liberals don't control the police, first of all, but it sounds like Poilievre has no qualms about Sean Feucht's homophobia, which is disturbing of a potential MP & federal party leader.
If you're disturbed by Feucht's bigotry, join us on August 22nd!
