Watching @hankgreen going through The Cancer Experience™️ is really healing in ways I hadn’t realized I still need to be healed. I’m hitting my 10 year chemoversary in a few months and, as my therapist reminds me, it’s okay that the trauma is still there sometimes.
Though disappointed my student didn’t win, I am thrilled for Jade and for the stance the NSDA has made with this selection. I’m also wishing health and safety to Jade, her family, and her friends.
