Those who oppose the deal should consider the realistic alternatives. How many ground troops would regime change actually require? 50,000? 100,000? Where would they deploy? What would the likely American casualties be? Would Israel join in deployments, or would this fall entirely on the U.S.? How long would it take? How many civilian deaths? What happens to oil prices? Would Iran fall into a deadly Civil War and a sectarian mess? How many migrants would the West be forced to absorb?

I've asked my friends who seem upset by this deal to answer those questions and they don't seem to have any good answers.
