✎；So, here he is; @awakenanima.

Just a warning as I know some people don't feel comfortable engaging with a minor muse, he is a child. Just a little guy.

[ᅠᅠ𝐂𝐈𝐃.ᅠᅠ @levinbolts]

✎；If Tw*tter will let me, I'll try and continue those threads I've been sitting on.

Also —— If anyone is interested, I couldn't help myself from testing out an idea I had for an XVI OC. While I know more Eikons don't make much sense in canon, I'm asking you to humour me here.

She's right, but she doesn't have to say it.

〝Beats the piss we're drinking back home, that's for sure.〞

He responds with a laugh, as he takes to cradling his already half-drunken glass in one hand.

〝I'd say I would bring you a bottle, as thanks. But I reckon it'd be more of an insult than anything.〞

Somnus with a nod took a sip from his own glass. He sure didn't have whiskey in a while, but that taste was welcome all the same.

"It's not some weak stuff. And I do almost feel bad for you if you didn't have access to such liquor in a while."

Calloused palms are rested either end of the worktable as Cid leans over the blueprints, studying the intricate notes and planning drawn out on parchment.

〝Shouldn't be too hard then, eh?
You've made it before, and now, we do it again —— just... on a smaller scale.〞

she makes room for her old man, hopping up to sit to the side of the table next to her handy work.

“I was thinkin' of a portable orchestrion, nothing grand, just somethin' you could take out and about without having to lug the whole thing around.”

[ᅠᅠ𝐂𝐈𝐃.ᅠᅠ @levinbolts]

〝And what are we if not creatures driven by ambition?〞

From his chest rumbles a chuckle like coming thunder.

〝A man can dream, Clive. A man can dream.〞

Good to see you too, Benedikta.

〝I'm sure it won't disappoint.
Cheers.〞

Glasses are brought together with a soft clink in good spirit, and chased up with a sip of the whisky that goes down with a pleasant burn.

〝Cor, that's got a kick to it. —— Not had something that strong in an age.〞

Once poured Somnus took his glass from the other man and he raised his hand that held it.

"A pleasure to meet you Cid. I hope the alcohols of my world are to you liking."

[ᅠᅠ𝐂𝐈𝐃.ᅠᅠ @levinbolts]

@FreedomsPrelude ✎；I didn't catch your one, but just for the sake of others who might not be as far, it might be best. Cheers.

Would he not be a hypocrite, he would push his original stance further. But too many nights with no sleep have been spent hunched over papers in his solar.

〝Let's have a look at it, then.
If we put our heads together, we might get it done quicker.〞

“But 'm almost done with it!”

she objects, leaning over the table where her unfinished work lies scattered over the surface.

“If I leave it as is now, then I might forget 'bout it all by mornin'...”

[ᅠᅠ𝐂𝐈𝐃.ᅠᅠ @levinbolts]

✎；Please, try be considerate of spoilers.
I've seen a few fairly big ones related to the end already, but even vague smaller ones have slipped past without much thought behind them.

I know it's exciting and a lot to talk about, but remember it's still only a recent release.

[ᅠᅠ𝐂𝐈𝐃.ᅠᅠ @levinbolts]

〝Sounds like it's past someone's bedtime.

Why don't you go on and get some rest? Those papers aren't going anywhere.〞

hiding a yawn behind her hand.

she's still got a project concept to finish drafting up!

・・✑ 〝And I won't have you taking my word over your own. As good though it may sound.

Trust in me as you like, but don't ignore that heart of yours. That's one of mans greatest gifts, that.〞

[ᅠᅠ𝐂𝐈𝐃.ᅠᅠ @levinbolts]

A patient silence and smog fills the air as Clive speaks, the vulnerable nature of his words earning the outlaws full attention, evident in the delayed drag taken before casting the pluming smoke from his cigarette off to the side.

〝You're your own free man now, Clive.〞 ・・✑

[ᅠᅠ𝐂𝐈𝐃.ᅠᅠ @levinbolts]

・・✑ Alas, he can barely make it through his light-hearted scold before breaking into a smile —— then motioning with his head for her to follow once the act is dropped.

〝C'mon. I'll make sure you're seated with a mug of Kenneth's finest.〞

[ᅠᅠ𝐂𝐈𝐃.ᅠᅠ @levinbolts]

〝And when's the last time one of my shortcuts led us astray?
I said they were shorter, not quicker.〞

An index finger is then pointed at the frost-blessed dominant as though in accusation.

〝Talk like that again, and you'll be drinking on your own next time.〞・・✑

[ᅠᅠ𝐂𝐈𝐃.ᅠᅠ @levinbolts]

〝I've been given no reason to distrust the Crown Prince as of yet.〞

And despite the small probability of him being wrong, Cid seems to be content with his judgement, seemingly relaxed as he withdraws a smoke to light.

〝Sometimes, you just gotta go with your gut.〞
