An average KALENJIN home has a farmer, a tsc teacher, a nurse, a policeman/kdf and someone abroad.. This answers why an average child would pivot more towards employment.
An average KIKUYU home has, a shrewd businessman, a banker, HR personnel na mtu tunajua ankuanga Nairobi.
I will vote for Maraga. My whole family has promised to vote him in too. I will be at peace whether he wins or not as long as I made the right choice for my country!!!
Years later, it’s frustrating to see people still peddling oversimplified comparisons of the SGR. "Twitter auditors" love to compare Kenya’s $3.2B price tag to Ethiopia’s $3.4B without looking at the engineering or legal realities, and this is why that comparison fails:-
Technical Standards: Kenya’s SGR is Class 1 (heavy-haul), built to move massive cargo from Mombasa. Ethiopia’s is Class 2, built for lighter volumes.
Land Costs: Kenya spent over Ksh 33B on land compensation because of private property rights and speculation. In Ethiopia, the state owns the land, so their compensation costs were negligible.
Engineering: Kenya had to build massive viaducts like the 6.5km superbridge in Nairobi National Park to protect wildlife. Our stations were also built as major architectural hubs, unlike the more basic, functional stations in Ethiopia.
Capacity: Kenya’s rail supports "double-stacking" and 25-tonne axle loads. One Kenyan train can carry double what a standard train handles.
We should absolutely demand transparency regarding debt, but comparing "cost per kilometre" here is an apples to oranges mistake. The two railways aren't the same product.
One of the most blatant examples of water apartheid:
The water well is 50 meters away from the Palestinian community, but they're not allowed to even buy it. Instead, Israel transfers the water out of the West Bank and makes money from it.

@amenya_nelson This is probably the only reason I welcomed Rutos presidency. The uhuru cabal had entrenched too deep into this country's economic bloodline.
Tribute to Hon Raila Odinga
Every once in a while, there arises a man who recalibrates and transforms the trajectory of history. In Kenya, Hon. Raila was such a man - making perhaps the most significant impact in Kenya's recent history.
Today is a good day... there is some movement towards peace in the middle east ... small steps but better than where things were yesterday

If Ruto is declared the winner, it will be the start of destruction of Kenya as we know it. A Kenya where all economic and democratic gains made will melt before our eyes. It'll be a moment of irony where democracy will have killed itself. It'll be an error of a reign. Disaster!
