Ah, current 9yr old 351K mile Tesla project. Replace the door for the charge port which has been randomly opening on its own. Likely failed because a drain was clogged. Biggest issue is that a nut inside the body didn't stay welded (spin, spin!) so out came the drill.
Ah, I remember the days when I didn't have to remove a wheel and fender liner to change a headlight bulb... Then again it's nice that these are like $10 bulbs and they let you reboot them for a while when they start dying... #Tesla#S85D 351K miles.
@PLAFantastic@gecko795 How does one deal with this? I see no option. Amazon just says it's running late and tracking says it was delivered to "an agent"for delivery a week ago in Miami(I'm in NY)
@PLAFantastic Sounds the same as mine. Supposedly a FedEx tracking number but both FedEx and Ali same something along the lines of "processing, not shipped yet". Like maybe they generated a shipping label...
@PLAFantastic@gecko795 So I ordered these cause I'm sure I needed them... But what exactly should I use these for other than that one marble run print?
Despite not loving my old Ford C-Max Energi, gotta give props for putting the charge port in front of the driver's door. Current Prius Plug-In's placement at passenger rear leaves me forgetting to unplug about 50% of the time...
@Carpervert Not new, but yeah, I own a 2013 Tangerine Orange Pearl Crosstrek. Did not realize how much better life was with it compared to my old gray cars. Seriously...
