They definitely believed in gods that don’t look like us. Believers like to imagine that every person who admits that there has to be some power that still beyond our understanding, to stick it to their own beloved ones.

This does not mean that he cannot develop simple emotions; like a sense of longing for his own kind, if he believes he has one.. somewhere.

Psychological issues evolve from the increasingly complexity of the human ‘social ties’, especially those between the two different genders. I am sure that a lonely sapien who, since his birth, manages to survive on an isolated island would never face any psychological problems.

With losing our trust with each other, we seem to be on our way to a state of full isolation, not now, but certainly over the next few decades. #technology will create a whole world for each of us, when there is no longer any desire to communicate with anything that looks #human.
