I'm a Lupus/Epilepsy patient who is homeless and too disabled from these to work at this time, my only means of survival is keeping the room I'm renting.

Lupus and epilepsy are both life threatening conditions that require heavy medical intervention to survive, these medications ARE NOT optional, I have to take 14 and a few of those 14 aren't being paid for by insurance and I have to pay for them. Anyone who knows the US Healthcare system knows they routinely refuse to cover things and Will often make you and your doctors jump through hoops. Because I was diagnosed with Lupus so long ago and some of the prior authorizations need the diagnostics from 2012, which aren't in my current doctors' possessions since they just do the blood work to confirm the disease status and that doesn't count as diagnostic info to insurances, I have to struggle with scraping the money together for a few of these medications so I don't have fatal gaps in care. Luckily a majority of my meds are covered and cost from $0-3, but my two most expensive meds are $500 and $400. The other not covered ones are typically $100 or less.

Again, IF I CAN'T FILL MY MEDS ON TIME IT CAN BE FATAL. IF I CAN'T RAISE ENOUGH TO PAY WEEKLY RENT ON TIME IT CAN BE FATAL since they can kick me out at any point after it's due and there's no guarantees we can negotiate grace periods.

I was just in the ER because I had a Lupus related allergic reaction to the heat and broke out in a rash among other symptoms.

Hi, I have to start cfing to keep myself off the street for another week as a lupus/epilepsy patient without permanent shelter! My goal amount this week is $1500, I need to keep myself sheltered and need to afford medications!
