@enyacollins This was an interesting read, thanks for sharing! Question on the grading out that ranked Van Hecke top, how does that work? Would love to learn a bit more about that
@ryantegan I think its
Romero sold, VDV stays and starts (either LCB or LB depending on opponent), Danso third choice, Vuskovic back out on loan and Dragusin sold
Might be wrong though
Quick thoughts on Van Hecke - good player, very comfortable on the ball, last year of contract and knows RDZ so that's all pros. Need the fee to be right (£40m max?) and both he and VDV not great in the air would be the worry for the pairing. Good move though
@HarryScarfe22 tbf he’s had injuries and played less minutes in the PL than Bergvall, he was pretty good last season when he had a consistent run of games,
I actually think Harry Wilson on a free is a good move for a bunch of other clubs, just not Spurs. Sunderland, Brighton, Bournemouth even Palace (depending on their manager) with Europe would be a great move for him
@luke7ii good read mate - my biggest concern is that he’s not a goal threat / not a great finisher. Massive xG underperformance last year, although his creative numbers are good. Him + another I would be happy with :)
Wilson a big no go for me. Gonna be after a big payday, has had one good season and even then it was fairly streaky. I get that he’s free but not of interest to me
@Lilywhite_Rose you can’t use the fail at Everton thing imo because a) his age b) they were so disfunctional at that time and c) plenty of players fail at one PL club and succeed at another
could be a similar situation to Salah from an optics POV. Struggled in the PL so perceived value is lower than his potential output (not saying he’s as good as Salah of course)
understand moise kean is one of the names on roberto de zerbi’s list of striker targets ahead of the summer window.
fiorentina forward is a name being discussed internally as #thfc continue to assess their options in attack.
gonçalo ramos has also been offered to #thfc.
