Joe Biden decided not to move the headquarters of U.S. Space Command to Alabama.

The Space Command will remain in Colorado. President Biden, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. Austin, Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall and Army Gen. James H. Dickinson, who leads Space Command, ALL support the decision because it would be too disruptive to military readiness.

Military readiness is of grave concern to military leads since AL Senator Tommy Tuberville is refusing to support any military promotions for officers. Tuberville is upset about the military paying for healthcare travel for women in the military and family members of servicemen if they are in a state that bans abortion.

The command with its estimated 1,400 jobs would have brought nearly $1 billion in annual economic spending to Alabama.
