The Welsh Liberal Democrats get things done in our communities.
A vote for the Liberal Democrats this May is a vote to fix the social care crisis and stop river pollution.
Tonight I voted against the family farms tax in Parliament - not a single Welsh Labour MP voted against the policy, not even those representing rural communities.
By voting through this damaging tax, Labour has turned its back on one of our country's most important sectors.
As news emerges that the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge will close overnight on Wednesday for emergency repairs, it reminds us of the importance of the M4 corridor to the South Wales economy.
It also emphasises the folly of failing to build an M4 Relief Road.
Geographical practicality and longstanding local ties mean South Wales and the South West of England share far more links than South and North Wales.
We must do everything we can to entrench those ties and encourage further investment.
Shutting them down in the name of divisive separatism will make people poorer.
It must not be allowed to happen.
Wales’ most famous son deserves better than this. David Lloyd George was a visionary statesman whose welfare reforms continue to protect us all. He detested inequality. His statues deserve the same protections that were applied to Churchill’s.

In light of recent events, I today asked the Government what it is doing to tackle the growing risk of Chinese espionage in UK institutions, including how they are taking into account this threat when it comes to our trade & investment policies.
This week in Parliament I spoke about my campaign for a banking hub in Ystradgynlais.
Big banks are making billions of pounds every year, they need to treat their customers better. 👇
Happy birthday to Mabel. Despite her occasional worries about the world, she would follow you to the ends of it. Which she proved again a couple of days ago.
I'm really grateful to all the farmers from Brecon, Radnor and Cwm Tawe who took the time to travel up to London today & to meet with me & our Deputy Leader @libdemdaisy.
I will continue to work hard to be your voice in Parliament and to push the Government to change course.
It was brilliant to join so many farmers protesting to #StopTheFamilyFarmTax today in London.
I and the @WelshLibDems are clear, we will stand up for farmers right across Wales.
The Conservatives are a busted brand in Wales, with no MPs & an atrocious legacy of economic vandalism caused by Liz Truss’s mini-Budget, whom Mims Davies previously backed
The @LibDems are the only UK wide Party that can provide the decent opposition that the country needs
This morning I visited Hwb y Gors to see what community energy schemes can do for a community.
The redevelopment of Cwmgors Primary School into a low-carbon community arts, education and enterprise centre has made substantial progress.
Thank you to @FalklandsRepUK for the very comprehensive yet accessible briefing at the Royal Welsh Show this week on agricultural and economic affairs in the Falklands. I look forward to engaging further with you. #Falklands 🏴 🇫🇰 🇬🇧
This news is extremely concerning. The Welsh Liberal Democrats have been campaigning to clean up our rivers for years. I have written to Welsh Water already and will be arranging a meeting with them to discuss urgent improvements necessary for higher water quality in our rivers.
I’m deeply humbled that the people of Brecon, Radnor and Cwm-Tawe have put their trust in me to serve them in parliament.
Thank you.
Thank you also to our incredible campaign team for covering every blade of grass across this enormous constituency.
The hard work starts now!
