@JamesGronk1@DrewPavlou You told me, so it's correct?
No, because we're not in Greece...
If everyone is welcome, why is a speech from an Aboriginal (First Peoples here) not allowed in your eyes?
I'm a nationalist
@JamesGronk1@DrewPavlou Iโm not left. You keep jumping to conclusions that arenโt being made. A Welcome to Country isnโt about ownership today, itโs just acknowledging history.
It doesnโt take anything away from anyone.
@JamesGronk1@DrewPavlou No James, I don't mean magic dirt. Australia is a country made up of 100's of different cultures and immigrants. They died so you could spew your hatred on Twitter 100 years later.
@JamesGronk1@DrewPavlou Youโre arguing against something that wasnโt even said.
No one is disrespecting soldiers, acknowledging Indigenous Australians or immigrants who served is part of the same history.
ANZACs werenโt one background, and recognising that isnโt โgrandstandingโ
@JamesGronk1@DrewPavlou What's the Politics behind it? Please show me one section of that video where he said that the Australians who died for Australia are tourists. You're spinning it in your head to make the worst outcome. How did this speech insult or diminish the ANZACS who fought for Australia?
@JamesGronk1@DrewPavlou They paid the ultimate sacrifice too, and originate from Australia. If you think it's grandstanding to allow an Aboriginal person to talk about their heritage with the message that everyone is welcome, I don't know what to tell you
@RealMarkLatham@Ryandally08 Italians and Greeks were looked down upon during the White Australia Policy, might want to look into that one, champ. Aborigonals originate from Australia, hence the welcome to country. Not that hard to understand...
