@SepzenoOfficial There's a nice middle ground here. The darker more grounded and action focused aesthetic of Man of Steel and the comic accurate, hopeful version of Superman 2025. It's called Superman & Lois — Tyler Hoechlin in general.

The biggest way that Lanterns misunderstands Green Lantern as a concept is....the ring does NOT choose you because you are fearless. It chooses you because you can overcome great fear...In fact, when the ring shows up, it says "....you have the ability to overcome great fear." So if this show does not respect the basic tenet of Green Lantern, it is a series that is made by people who have no conception of heroism...in a universe that continually shits on the source material.

@durktoomany @YFNArachnidY People expect us to cheer for Sam just because he showed up for work. I was pumped to see what they'd do with him as Cap, but FATWS ruined his character and Brave New World showed why Mackie just isn't a good leading man. I would also hate Bucky if not for Thunderbolts.

B. John Walker has everyone try to fuck him over just for wanting to be a good Captain America (even Sam) AFTER Sam decided to give up the shield. Then John proves everyone wrong by doing the right thing in the finale.
