America is a Constitutional Democracy, it is not, has not, never was, and never will be, a Republic, of any kind. There is no Republic, the Republic fell when the founders established the Constitution and created America, a Constitutional Democracy.

Guns don't save lives, they take them. The 2nd amendment is a handgun in a purse, not full tactical gear and assault weapons. This has it's own name, it's called domestic terrorism, and its goal is to intimidate. The message is clear, "try and take my gun and I'll murder you."
